Ankara is the capital of Turkey and looks always under both
construction and destruction. Some places which were
of great significance in the past are now no longer
attractive. "Bad and good", "qualified and unqualified
culture" are near by near at the same time in Ankara.

Within the framework of Gates project, I intended to
take photographs the gates-entrance of certain cinemas
which are nowadays showing at least 3 pornography at
the session. Whereas some of them were in the past
showed Bergman, Tarkowski and Fellini but now they are
only porno cinemas. You see a special item in each of
them "3 films in one session" (3 Film Birden in
Turkish).
